2º – Heathers (Michael Lehmann, 1989)
Tired of the superficiality of the group of popular girls from her school, a teenager ends up forming a strange affective bond with a new and not normal student. Together, the two end up getting involved in extreme situations. A different, dynamic and intelligent film in their onslaughts, ‘Heathers’ escapes completely from the clichés of adolescent films of the time. A work that amuses, disturbs and makes it impossible for the viewer to take his eyes off or lose interest in the crazy things that happen on screen. The partnership between Winona Ryder and Christian Slater leading the central characters is a highlight.
1º – True Romance (Tony Scott, 1993)
A young man ends up meeting a problematic woman, falls in love with her and decides to get involved in a mess that could cost him his life. ‘True Romance’ presents the best of the cinema of the 1990s, with a fascinating story that will certainly stay in his head for a long time to come.
