A reporter investigates the legend of a videotape that kills people who watch its contents in a few days. Belonging to Japanese cinema, ‘Ringu’ uses, in a wise way, some crucial “jump-scars” for the development of the plot, making the experience of watching the film a journey permeated by scares.
5º – A Tale of Two Sisters (Jee-woon Kim, 2003)
In the plot, a Korean family is haunted by past deaths of some of its members. Working to expose intermittent terror, this South Korean pearl brings the best of terror in that country, with a frightening history and a tangle of scenes that cause scares at every moment.
