10 – Hey, Arnold (1996)
The adventures of a daydreaming, jazz-loving, football-headed 9-year-old, who lives in a boarding house with his grandparents and some eccentric boarders, encounters life in the city with his best friend Gerald, a loofah-haired kid, who is the keeper of the urban tales and coolest kid in class; and Helga, who torments him, but loves him secretly.
9 – Bob’s Burgers (2011)
Bob’s Burgers follows a third-generation restaurateur, Bob, as he runs Bob’s Burgers with the help of his wife and their three kids. Bob and his quirky family have big ideas about burgers, but fall short on service and sophistication. Despite the greasy counters, lousy location and a dearth of customers, Bob and his family are determined to make Bob’s Burgers “grand re-re-re-opening” a success.

Popeye started out as a character in the daily comic strip “Thimble Theatre” in 1929. In the early 30s, Max and Dave Fleischer made him the star of his own cartoon. Bluto, Popeye’s rival, will do anything it takes to get Olive Oyl, Popeye’s girlfriend. Popeye is always willing to get her out of trouble.
7 – The Woody Woodpecker Show (1940)
“The Woody Woodpecker Show” was a long-running 30-minute American television series mainly composed of the animated cartoon escapades of Woody Woodpecker and other Walter Lantz characters including Andy Panda, Chilly Willy and Inspector Willoughby. The series was revived and reformatted several times, but remained popular for nearly four decades and allowed the studio to continue making theatrical cartoons until 1972 when it shut down. It also kept the Walter Lantz/Universal “Cartunes” made during the Golden Age of American animation a part of the American consciousness.

4 – CatDog (1998)
The life and times of a cat and a dog with a unique twist: they’re connected, literally. They share one body with a Dog’s head at one end and Cat’s head on the other. Adding to their dilemma is Cat’s annoyance with Dog, mainly caused by Dog’s stupidity and Cat’s up-tight personality. Characters: Cat – Cat is the smarter one of the two brothers, and is always hatching some kind of plot to get his brother to calm down, so that Cat doesn’t get beat around and hurt. Even though most of these plots involve messing with Dog’s feeble mind, they often backfire on Cat, much to his dismay.
3 – Courage the Cowardly Dog (1999)
This show is about a dog named Courage that was found by Muriel Bagge who lives on a farm in the middle of Nowhere with her husband Eustace Bagge. Eustace dislikes Courage and calls him “Stupid Dog”. Muriel on the other hand is different from Eustace and loves Courage. But, weird things happen in Nowhere and it’s now up to Courage to save them.
2 – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987)
Distinctly different from the grim, violent, and dark MIRAGE comics from which the Turtles originated, this version of the franchise has remained the longest running, and most memorable, version of all. Four turtles fall into the sewers and are befriended by Hamato Yoshi a Japanese man sent to New York who was forced to live in the sewers. One day he sees a strange green glow which transforms the four turtles into human-like creatures. Hamato (now Master Splinter) changes into a giant rat from the green glow and teaches the turtles the skills of the ninja as they team up with Channel 6 news reporter April O’Neil to battle against Yoshi’s arch enemy Shredder and Krang, an alien warlord from Dimension X.
1 – Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? (1969)The first incarnation of what has become a franchise-of-sorts, Scooby-Doo is a large, loveable but cowardly Great Dane who hangs around four California high school students (Fred, Velma, Daphne and Shaggy). The four teen-agers are in constant search of mysteries and adventures, driving around in a bright green van known as the Mystery Machine. Many of the group’s adventures involve villians who take on supernatural disguises (ghosts and monsters); the villians’ activities usually involve blackmail, theft, fraud and other forms of corruption.
