7º – Ex Machina (Alex Garland, 2014)
A talented young man is selected to participate in an artificial intelligence development program in a completely isolated place. In place, little by little, the young man will realize the intensity of his function, just as he will glimpse strange things erupt in the environment. Working with the philosophical concept of power will, the film uses the figure of a robot to explain basic and instinctive precepts about human origin.
6º – Enemy of the State (Tony Scott, 1998)
Unknowingly, a lawyer now has in his possession an important piece of evidence that can put important men in jail. However, this evidence will cause the lawyer to be pursued by the city and have his life completely altered. All the dynamics of ‘Enemy of the State’, taking to the viewer a complex plot of pleasant form and without weight, makes that the film gains in quality. One of the best works of director Tony Scott’s career.
