5º – The French Connection (William Friedkin, 1971)
In the plot, two policemen try to dismantle a major drug scheme in New York, facing the worst in the midst of crime. Operation France’ is one of the most memorable works of the 1970s. Its engaging and dynamic story succeeds in arresting the spectator from beginning to end, while also exhibiting an intermittent action and the great performance of actor Gene Hackman.
4º – The Royal Tenenbaums (Wes Anderson, 2001)
We will follow the turbulent daily life of an unsuitable family, understanding a little about the exacerbated behavior of each of its members. Pearl of Wes Anderson, the film works with a more melancholic form of humor, bringing characters who always seek an inaccessible figure of happiness. It’s a great film, with a cast that can’t be touched, with the presence of names like Bill Murray, Ben Stiller, Anjelica Huston, Danny Glover, Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, Gwyneth Paltrow and the fabulous Gene Hackman.
